Are you looking for a week with minimal cooking? If so, here's a plan for you! This was my last week's dinner plan, and it will probably unimpress your kids as much as it did mine!
Monday: grilled cheese and tomato soup (This one they're OK with. It's an easy meal to make when you get home from class at 7:00.)
Tuesday: "Italian Night" - warm up 2 cans spaghettios in 1 pan and 2 cans raviolis in another pan. Kids get to choose which Italian dish they want! Serve it with french bread and caesar salad! :) (They didn't really buy the whole Italian night theme, but I tried. We were in a hurry to get to Amanda's fall choir concert, but we went to Pace's for "rainbows" -- an ice cream treat -- after Amanda's choir concert, and Italian night was forgotten.)
Wednesday: chicken pot pie (I needed something the kids could pop in the oven themselves while John was at an appointment and I went from my Weber class to Enrichment Night.)
Thursday: potato soup (This is the one thing I really cooked all week, and it is my kids' personal favorite. I am always "the best mom in the world" when I make this.)
Friday: Plan A was frozen pizza. When we went to pick up Hannah from Wendy's house, Wendy gave us some extra meatballs she had cooked but was trying to get rid of because there were so many and her family was getting sick of them. So that became Plan B.
Saturday: We went to the High Priest Steak Fry and came home with extra steak. That made the kids at home very happy.
On the plus side, we accomplished everything we needed to do last week with classes, concerts, and end-of-term projects, nobody starved, and dinners were relatively cheap!

I would love to have that for dinner this week! Last night I came home late from a choir practice and Mom had made hotdogs for our Special Sunday Dinner and there were none left so I had about ten tater tots and chips for dinner:(.
