For those of you who were in California for mom's graduation, you know that Margie Fowler brought Chelsie a picture of the General Authorities with the prompts that go to the Beverly Hillbillies song. Chelsie would sit in her bed at night and study those pictures and would ask us to test her on them.
Well, a couple Sundays ago, Chelsie was sitting in her Primary class when her teachers (two men) asked if anyone knew what Dallin H. Oaks' former job/profession was. Remembering the line, "A Supreme Court Justice was Dallin H. Oaks . . .," she quickly raised her hand and said "a Supreme Court Justice," only to be told she was wrong. She told them it said so in a song. They said they didn't know anything about that but the answer they were looking for was "lawyer." Somehow, I feel like she was robbed!

She was robbed! Yes he was a lawyer, but according to the official church almanac he served "three years as Utah Supreme Court justice." I think the teacher needs to be better informed :-)
That's too bad - especially when she was right!
